Patrick ("Pat") Lynch has built a successful track record in general business management and product
development principally in financial services. After proving that he was adept at running a family-held business, which he joined immediately after completing his studies at the University of Southern California in 1978, Pat became an executive within a merchant banking team at Interallianz-Hallwood based in Zurich, Switzerland. The Firm specialized in financial restructuring's.
Upon returning to the US, Pat joined Bridge Information Systems, a financial information provider, and served on Bridge's Board and Executive Management Committee. At Bridge Pat launched an International service which provided non-US financial information to money managers and traders throughout the world.
After seven high-growth and successful years at Bridge Pat joined James Capel (the investment banking and trading arm of HSBC) as a CEO of James Capel subsidiary, and as a member of their International Board. Pat then returned to the US and had a very successful career on Wall Street. He was an executive at Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley. Pat then joined ING Baring Furman Selz as a Senior Managing Director.
Pat then joined Sector, Inc., a telecommunications and information processing/outsourcing firm, as their President and CEO. In addition to these duties Pat joined the Executive Management Committee that ran SIAC (Sector's 'Parent', which is owned by the New York and American Stock Exchanges.)
Pat joined AFA in October of 2006 as Chief Executive Officer after having been the President and CEO of SunGard's BRASS business unit, BRASS maintains an extensive product suite built around its core business of providing trade order management systems to a large segment of the U.S. broker/dealer community.
